David was instrumental in the planning, installation and delivery of a 17.5km fibre optic route for the GBN from Addenbrookes Hospital to the Genome Campus Hinxton. This project used mole ploughing and directional drilling to provide cost effective engineering solutions.

The team at Green Cave installed new blown-fibre cables to external street cabinets, enabling a seamless network transition ahead of the planned demolition of a building housing the existing fibre hub. This ensured uninterrupted connectivity and future-ready infrastructure for the local network.

Green Cave delivered an upgrade of fibre optic circuits for Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge. The route extended from the main college site, running via the public highway and through Jesus College. The project required careful planning and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery with minimal disruption.
